If you consistently dread Monday morning, listen
That feeling is a signal.
There was a time when Sunday evenings felt super heavy to me. It wasn’t really about the work itself, but more about the Sunday night dread of Monday creeping in.
The sound of the alarm clock breaking the morning calm, the annoying commute full of traffic, waiting for trains, or trying to figure out the bus schedules.
And then there were those never-ending meetings that just zapped my energy instead of sparking my interest.
The thought of being stuck in a cycle of misery, counting down the hours until I could finally relax on the weekend, stressed me out. I wanted more than just surviving Mondays; I wanted to thrive.
The Decision I Made
So, I made a big decision: I was going to start my own thing, a business where I’d be the one calling the shots with my time and my future.
It was crucial for me to wake up one day and just take a break if I needed it, without needing anyone's permission or having to explain myself. It was all about taking back my freedom.
That’s what this journey was about - freedom.
What You Can Learn From This
Here’s something important to keep in mind: if you’re always dreading Monday, it’s a clear sign that something's gotta change.
Work should energize and inspire you, not drain your spirit. Life’s too precious to be stuck in a job that makes you feel trapped or unfulfilled.
You deserve to chase a career that lights you up, not one that makes you just count down the days until the weekend.
